Description
Mayco’s SW-004 Zinc Free Clear is a specialty clear glaze designed for use on glazes containing chrome-based pigments. It also gives good results over Vulcan Black Stoneware and other manganese-containing bodies. It ensures that you will get a brilliant, smooth and crystal clear surface. Fire to cone 5/6. Carbon trapping and a milky haze may develop at cone 9/10. If applied too thick, fired finish may become cloudy.
Mayco’s Stoneware glazes are formulated to be friendly to the user in application and firing.
